Why Vibration?
We live in a world that is getting faster and faster and we have less and less time to spend doing important things such as maintain our physical health and fitness. Increasingly, more and more people are turning to new drug-free training methods that increase the benefits received for less time and effort put in.
The potential for vibrated training has been highlighted by a range of celebrities, including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Jonathan Ross and Simon Cowell, advocating the benefits of these techniques. The devices these busy celebrities are using tend to vibrate the whole body whilst performing regular exercises. The vibration methods used mean that they can spend less time working out for the same results, increasing their Exercise return on investment (Ex-ROI).
Vibration is like training in hyper-gravity. When an astronaut goes into space their muscle and bones get weaker due to hypo-gravity, but if the astronaut uses vibration training they can prevent much of this strength- loss. Similarly, if vibration training is done here on earth, it stimulates the responses that would occur if someone was in a much stronger gravitational field. This allows less work to be done for greater benefits.
