How to Use

Although we believe that respiratory muscle training is beneficial for many clinical conditions, if you have any history of cardiovascular or respiratory disease you must check with your Doctor before using youbreathe!

youbreathe is so easy and comfortable to use. Training for a maximum of 5 minutes per day, 5 days per week, you could see enormous benefits to your cardio-vascular health and also your exercise performance.

You simply hold youbreathe in your mouth and breathe through it for 40-60 breaths per day for beginners, and during light exercise for athletes (see user manual downloads below). It’s that short and simple. But the benefits users have reported have been so large compared to the effort put in (see 'what users have to say' page).

The valve mechanism and mouthpiece can be removed simply and washed with soapy water ready for next use. This is hassle free training.

As a side-note, we also recommend you set your phone, blackberry or i-pod alarm to remind you to do your youbreathe training. It is so quick and easy that many people forget to do it. Also it is a great way to de-stress and centre yourself. Take the restrictor out and breathe deeply into your abdomen allowing the vibration to relax your body and mind.

We also recommend you buy a peak flow meter to test your breathing performance regularly. These are available from most chemists or health stores and we will soon be adding the best value devices  to our range of accessories available from this website.  Additionally you can download the free recording chart  that plots your progress with youbreathe so  you can see yourself improve day by day.
